Grilled Octopus Tentacles are a delightful seafood dish that's perfect for those who enjoy the unique flavor and tenderness of grilled octopus.

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.

  2. Place the octopus tentacles in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Toss to coat the octopus evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, but preferably for a few hours for better flavor.

  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Remove the marinated octopus from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 10 minutes.

  4. Place the octopus tentacles on the preheated grill.

  5. Grill for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the octopus is cooked through and has nice grill marks. Octopus is done when it becomes tender and no longer rubbery.

  6. Once done, transfer the grilled octopus tentacles to a serving platter.

Note

Grilled Octopus Tentacles

Octopus can vary in tenderness, so if your tentacles are on the tougher side, you can pre-cook them by simmering in water for about 30-45 minutes until tender, then marinating and grilling for flavor.
