Enjoy the vibrant flavors of pesto paired with perfectly baked salmon and lemony green beans!
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a small bowl, mix the prepared pesto sauce with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down.
Spread the pesto mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Arrange lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked to your desired level of doneness. The salmon should flake easily with a fork.
While the salmon is baking, prepare the green beans. In a separate bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the green beans and sauté for about 4-5 minutes, or until they become tender and slightly browned.
Remove the green beans from heat and toss them with lemon zest and lemon juice.
Serve the baked salmon fillets with a side of lemon-infused green beans.
